New Scholarships at UCA for recent HS & GED grads

Hey everyone in UCA land...

Did you graduate high school or earn your GED after December 31, 2006??

If so...check out this new scholarship available to students...announced by UCA....
The GO! Opportunities Grant Program is a grant that is awarded based on financial need. Eligibility is based on a family’s adjusted gross income as reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For a family with one dependent child, the maximum adjusted gross income is $25,000. For each additional dependent child in the household, the maximum income increases by $5,000. This grant is available to recent Arkansas high school graduates or General Educational Development (GED) Test recipients who are accepted to a college or university in Arkansas. The grant amount is $1,000 per academic year for full-time students and $500 a year for part-time students. The grant is renewable for up to a total award amount of $4,000 provided the student meets the continuing eligibility standards established by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.

They've granted a one time extension to apply for the scholarship for the Fall 2007 semester! Outstanding opportunity...new UCA scholarships are definitely a good thing!
