Maybe it's the phrasing....'by the fountain', 'near the fountain'....more than the phrase it's how THE is said...'by THE fountain' and 'near THE fountain'
It's not a fountain...it's THE fountain. That must be it.
It's been three years since Rush and Linda Harding donated the $1.225 million to UCA that went toward the fountain. He was honored with an Alumnus Award from UCA along with having the fountain hamed in their honor.
Harding is an investment broker who helped fund the golf course/apartment development at the Links on Tyler Street ($40 million or so) amongst other things.
Fountain, oh fountain...my kingdom for a fountain
